How it actually works

A few things to watch out for
You can’t just shove these into any old fixture and call it a day. You’ll need waterproof housings and wiring that won’t melt the second things get hot. And be careful with the wattage. If you put a high-power tube in a tiny box, you’re going to trip the thermal cutout constantly. You’ve got to make sure the fixture can actually breathe.
