What to keep in mind
The heater does its best work when bead geometry is consistent and the substrate is clean and dry. Surface emissivity and moisture can shift the effective cure temperature, so stay on top of that. Verify voltage and connector compatibility at the workstation—these portable units draw serious current and need a dedicated supply. Keep the emitter face clear of cured sealant residue to preserve uniformity. With proper handling, the quartz elements deliver stable output for thousands of hours, but they don’t like impacts. Store and transport with the protective cap in place.
