It finds every tiny gap in a housing seal and settles right on the quartz tube and electrical terminals. If a connector—like the R7s or SK15—isn&amp;rsquo;t airtight, you&amp;rsquo;re looking at a short circuit. Not great.&#xA;To stop that from happening, we put our units through what I call &amp;ldquo;the gauntlet.&amp;rdquo; We toss them into high-humidity chambers and flip the power on and off repeatedly. It simulates years of steamy showers in just a few hundred hours. If there&amp;rsquo;s a flaw in the build, we want it to break here, on our floor, not in your bathroom.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
