The Power Behind the Heat
Here’s the setup: these units run at 400V and pump out 2500W. That’s the kind of muscle you need when your production cycles are relentless. The tube itself is 300mm long, which means the heat stays focused in a tight space. You can zero in on exactly the spot you need to hit. That focus saves energy, sure. But it also means the heat is intense right there. So you just have to make sure the heater is matched to the job and that your machine’s cooling system can handle the extra warmth in that specific spot.
What Makes Them Hold Up
Inside, the halogen element sits in a quartz tube. This is key because it keeps the heat output steady over time, unlike standard filaments that tend to fade. We also added a special coating to the quartz. It shields the heater from harsh conditions and helps the heat transfer stay consistent. For the wiring, we went with R7s connectors. They’re built to handle high heat, and they stay tight even when things are vibrating and expanding and contracting. It makes the install quicker and cuts down on breakdowns out in the field.
How It Works Where It Matters
Take PET blowing, for example. You need heat that’s quick and controllable to soften those preforms evenly and fast. These heaters nail that. The energy-saving design means you use less power per cycle. And because the tube is compact, you can fit it into tight spots without a struggle. Just remember, you’re working with high heat density. Plan your mounting and spacing, and get the cooling sorted from the start. That way, you get the full life and performance out of the unit.
