Dealing with the steam
Bathrooms are brutal on electronics. Between the steam from the shower and the occasional splash, it’s a wet mess in there. A few things to keep in mind
I want to be honest about the setup. You can’t just plug these into any old outlet. Because these heaters pull a lot of power to give you that instant heat, you’ll need a dedicated circuit. If your home has old, thin wiring, you’re probably going to trip the breaker. It’s worth having an electrician double-check your load before you install them. And a quick warning: these things gethot. Fast. While they’re waterproof, they aren’t “touch-proof.” You’ll want to mount them high and out of reach. You definitely don’t want someone accidentally brushing against the element.
